I was reading comments on this page, and one user summed it up so well, that it made me laugh out loud.
“Maybe Microsoft will be able to catch the hearts and minds of all the die-hard Windows geeks out there. Creating an ugly and unfriendly UI worked well with Windows. How many times have we heard MS fans exclaim that the Mac OS is “too pretty and simple”? These guys are the Zune’s target market. As long as the thing is complicated to use and allows one to change the screen colours to olive green and mud brown it will be a huge success.

If not Macs then maybe those MS users would do well to try one of the better Linux distros, but I’m sure they’d find another excuse, e.g. “well, errm, actually we just use our PCs for gaming…”
